Raw Material Control: ELM’s commitment to quality starts upon receipt of base oils and additives. Unlike most lubricant facilities ELM has access to the specialized instrumentation unique to vegetable oils such as the oxidation stability testing instrument required to test the unique oxidative properties of our products.

Receiving And In-Process Inspection: Samples are taken routinely from base stock and additive supplies, from blending and packaging operations, and storage vessels. The laboratory staff maintains strict standards by using the latest instruments & techniques.

Physical And Performance Test Instrumentation: Our capabilities include the following instruments for both grease and fluid testing:

Oxidation Stability Instrument, Grease Penetrometers, Viscometers, Grease Corrosion Test, Dropping Point, FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Specstroscopy), Pin & Vee Block, Electrolytic Respirometer testing for biodegradability, Foam Apparatus, Toxicity Testing, Pour Point Apparatus, Humidity Cabinet Rust Test, Dielectric Test, Particle Counter
